Case IH has announced additional developments to the ‘2000 series Early Riser planters.'

The newly introduced features comprise a larger liquid capacity, a dealer-installed 48th-row option, and software upgrades for the AFS Pro 1200 display.

David Brennan, Case IH planter marketing manager in an interview commented that "Introducing the 2150S Early Riser planter this year was a game changer — but it was only the beginning of our renewed commitment to bolstering our entire lineup of 2000 series Early Riser planters." Furthermore, he stated, "These new offerings are intended for producers who are constantly looking for more options and capacity during critical planting windows."

Updates For Early Risers Planter

The 2150 planter model now has a 540-gallon liquid fertilizer tank capacity for 2023, up from the 525-gallon capacity this year. Case IH estimates that this will increase run times between liquid product refills by up to 180 acres. The fill location is accessible from the rear platform, as with previous models.

The tank is positioned near the front of the planter for better weight distribution, and it has a low-profile design for improved rear visibility in the field.

A 48th row is now available for owners and new adopters of the 47-row 2160 Early Riser front-fold planter. Case IH dealers can install this upgrade using a bolt-on bracket kit.

Elements of 2000 Series Early Riser Planters

The bulk-fill tanks on the 2000 series Early Riser planters ensure consistent seed delivery from the tank to the mini-hopper, regardless of seed population. 2160, 2150, and 2140 models all have two bulk-fill tanks, while 2130 only has one 50-bushel tank.
