The engine oil level should be checked regularly. Use a dipstick and make sure that the oil is above the minimum level. Always choose the best engine oil for your tiller machine. Doing this will keep your engine up and running for long hours.

Check the coolant every day and ensure it is not below the minimum level. If the coolant level drops, add the coolant water by mixing 3 parts of water and 1 part of OEM-recommended concentrate. Change the coolant every 6 months or after the completion of a harvest season.

The gear oil keeps the transmission smooth, and the rotary chaincase oil offers a smooth rotation of the joints. Like any other lubricants, these oils also need a daily check and regular changes.

Apart from oil, there are moving parts and joints, like the rotary cup, that require greasing. Regularly grease and clean them as per the company’s recommendation.

If the oil filter remains unchanged, it gets worn out and then it contaminates that get collected in it escape back to the engine. Make sure to clean or change these filters routinely.

Clean and change the fuel filters for preventing dust and large contamination particles present in the fuel from entering the fuel tank.

The dusty environment of the farms, especially during land operations, leads to the quick deterioration of the air cleaner filters. Therefore, regular cleaning and changing are important.
