Atmanirbhar Krishi/ Bagwani Yojana 2022
The cultivation of fruit such as apples, kiwis, oranges, areca nuts, and walnut will be done under the Bagwani section with the help of the Atmanirbhar Krishi/ Bagwani Yojana. The second Krishi section will cover scientific land terracing, tea and rubber, double cropping, farm mechanization, FPO, buckwheat cultivation, and apiculture. The main goal of launching this scheme is to provide beneficiaries with credit linked to respective banks.
- People who use this scheme do not need to submit any land documents, such as a land possession certificate, to receive the benefit.
- There will also be no need for collateral in the case of individual schemes.
- This scheme is part of the Atma Nirbhar program, which was announced during the February 2021 budget session.
The Goal Of The Atmanirbhar Krishi/ Bagwani Yojana
Farmers and SHGs will be able to obtain credit through this scheme with the assistance of various banks. This scheme will assist farmers and SHGs in growing their businesses through agriculture and other activities.

Atmanirbhar Krishi/ Bagwani Yojana Implementation
The following is the procedure for implementing the Atmanirbhar Krishi/ Bagwani Yojana:
- The implementation of the Atmanirbhar Krishi/ Bagwani Yojana is the responsibility of a state-level committee led by the chief secretary.
- The implementing officer will be the district agriculture and horticulture officers.
- Beneficiaries are chosen at the discretion of the implementing officer.
- NABCONS, NABARD's consulting agency, will prepare implementation guidelines for this scheme.
- The agri-horti sector is receiving unprecedented support as a result of this scheme.
Atmanirbhar Krishi/ Bagwani Yojana Advantages

- The Arunachal Pradesh government has launched a new scheme to boost the state's agriculture and horticulture sectors.
- Farmers and self-help groups throughout the state will receive enormous benefits.
- Farmers will be able to use the land for cultivation with scientific land terracing, tea and rubber, double cropping, farm mechanization, FPO, buckwheat cultivation, and apiculture with the help of Atmanirbhar Krishi/ Bagwani Yojana.
- Members of self-help groups will also be able to use the land for apple, kiwi, orange, arecanut, walnut, and permission cultivation.
- Beneficiaries will receive credit-linked subsidies from the state's respective banks.
- No land documents, such as land possession certificates, are required.
- The loan under the Atmanirbhar Krishi/ Bagwani Yojana will be given to the individual without any collateral.
- The state-level committee is in charge of carrying out this scheme.
Criteria For Atmanirbhar Krishi/ Bagwani Yojana Eligibility
The following are some of the basic eligibility criteria for this scheme:
- An applicant must be an Arunachal Pradesh permanent resident.
- The applicant must be a farmer.
- The candidate must be a member of self-help group.
